Ability to copy a record

I have to add a lot of records sometimes that may be nearly the same, like CNAME records for a reverse proxy that all have the same target domain name, I moved over from unbound DNS in OPNsense and the ability it provided to copy an existing record made things quicker.

Is there any reason you can't import or transfer import the zone?

Thanks for the request. I am planning to add a zone file editor option so that should help you to copy paste required records and then use the Import option in other zones where you wish to add them. Does that work for your use-case?

The records don't exist anywhere to import from, I've moved off of unbound DNS at this point so this feature would be helpful in the future.

Possibly but this isn't really about copying existing records from one zone to another, it's more so using an existing record as a template (copy that I modify) for entirely new records in the same zone.
