Can we get someone to merge this PR into the main branch and push a new release out the NPM? As of iOS 15.2, image picker no longer works the first time you accept the permissions. This PR seems to fix the issue. |

This fixes the issue on iOS when requesting read permission. If the user has not been previously asked for permission, iOS will display an alert to the user requesting their permission while the requestReadPermission function returns null before the user has answered the question.
