Overview

Some subsystems should have current limits.

Motivation

Some subsystems don't need to draw a lot of current. Examples include but are not limited to:

  • Angler
  • Deployer
  • Intake
  • Indexer
    Current limits will extend battery life and minimize potential damage to subsystems in case a limit fails. It will also make more power available to subsystems that may need them.

Implementation

Phoenix 6 should allow to set motor current limits. If so, we should have current limit constants for each subsystem and have them apply at the start of the program.
