Summary
Adds
mockups/social/— LinkedIn post drafts riding the Labs relaunch, plus a LinkedIn-style feed preview. Mockups only: nothing is wired into the site build (consistent withdocs/publishing.md, social-only content is ephemeral and not indexed). Two voice sets covering the same three angles — pick one voice per angle, don't run both:
Set A — direct, essay-toned
01-compressed-timeline.md— the 2023→2026 arc in one screen, ending on agentic software run from your phone in the cloud. Doubles as the launch announcement; post first.02-adoption-curve.md— vertical technology curve vs. barely-started adoption curve, and four future-proof moves (legibility, verification, harness skills, climbing the ladder in order).03-cost-of-software.md— what ambient intelligence does to "expensive to make, cheap to reproduce": collapsing build costs, repriced technical debt, moved moats, the return of custom software.Set B — Orwell rewrites, told as stories to a trusted friend
Same angles rewritten under Orwell's six rules: short words, active voice, everything cuttable cut, no trade jargon. Each framed as talking to a smart friend who happens not to follow AI.
04-compressed-timeline-story.md— "A friend asked me last week what I actually do all day now."05-adoption-curve-story.md— "Did we miss it? Is it too late to start?" answered over dinner.06-cost-of-software-story.md— the one economic fact software rested on, and how it broke. Each file carries the LinkedIn body, a suggested first comment (keeps the outbound
labs.thefocus.ailink out of the post body), and an X teaser tweet — the same body is intended to run as an X article. All six end on the subscribe CTA pointing at labs.thefocus.ai.index.htmlrenders the whole campaign as a LinkedIn-style feed (Set A, divider, Set B) — open it directly in a browser.Preview
