Thank you very much for your update. However, it seems that the issue with #69 has not been resolved. Even after I removed polkit-1 and pkexec, biopass still doesn't work when the interactive window pops up. Meanwhile, I deleted the code snippet you mentioned from the 1.1.1 version code and built it for testing, but the problem persists. Could you please look into this issue again? Thank you very much.

Hmm seem weird, I checked it with sudo successfully.

I think the pkexc command does not trigger /etc/pam.d/common-auth. I ran sudo and see the debug log. Because I ignored sudo, so I had to enter my password. However, when I use pkexec, no debug log was printed.

Yes, the function of #75 is fine. The problem lies in that it seems pkexec doesn't trigger auth. Howdy can trigger it normally, which is really confusing.

I have also put pam_fprint.so directly on top of /etc/pam/d/polkit-1. Fprint module works, but Biopass was not triggered. I think we have to add some configurations for polkit.

Similar issue was happening on my howdy(not biopass) setup. It was improperly configured pam.d file (I don't remember exactly what it was, but likely the issue with the order of the lines listed there)

It works fine for me after I removed the default polkit-1,pkexec value from the biopass ignore list. Fedora 44 with KDE.
