I used to use USB Disk Ejector on Windows but never found an alternative for Linux. Today I said I was going to write one - but you already have, and it works great!
Quickly adding it to my panel/taskbar (in XFCE) and now it behaves in the same way as USB Disk Ejector. A small icon that I can click on to eject disks.
