I'm working with a colleague on a library called toponymy that will handle all of this, and there will be some level of integration with EVoC. Note that EVoC does not produce a 2D layout, so you can't extract it. On the other hand you can reduce to 2D with UMAP and then use toponymy to handle the rest to provide the labels you want. Currently toponymy is undergoing a major refactor, but hopefully in the next month or so we'll have that done and have a proper release out.

I am also hoping to get some documentation for EVoC written sometime soon. I'm not sure there will be a paper as there isn't really anything much terribly new in this work. Depending on how much use it gets I can try to write a paper describing the details if necessary.
