Please post any comments on the installation process from this year. I will start with mine below.
- Some students using Chromebooks but we do not mention if they are supported or not
- 8gb of RAM is a bit outdated (particularly for Windows), might scrape by on Mac with their Apple silicon efficiency
- We should specify a SSD is required, some users had HDD and were struggling severely
- Issues with GitHub PATs for
canlang and ottr
- ottr on Cran now so we can switch, canlang may need manual install from zip workaround
