Macro - lost one line macro action in agent

OS - Windows 10 Pro , version 22H2
UHK (UHK 60 v.1)

I have one macro, that contains approximately 61 actions. This macro worked fifty times, and after those one string of data manipulation sequence was not in the right place, I thought that in was extra space or may be initial position of cursor was in the wrong place, I tried to change and was debugging everything, but issue was in the place, that I thought last of all - place was in UHK Agent in that Macro - one string of action was lost. I have script on the paper by pencil, and after debugging, I've found, that one string was lost. Why it is happened? And what Can I do to avoid similar issues in the future?

You mean that the macro action itself dissapeared?

No idea tbh. Any chance you have rolled back to older config version, or missclicked, or anything like that?

Macro had 61 lines of actions, and after debugging I've noticed when I compared script of 61 actions (macro) from the papernote and agent UHK macro , that 1 line disappeared in UHK agent macro and it became had 60 lines. Macro worked before this situation many times (50 times) - succesfully. UHK firmware 17.0.0 (both half). May be few month without updating and rolling back. Even agent UHK window was hided in tray, just work area with documents, therefore missclicking - has 0.0001 chance. I will message if I'll be noticing these bugs. I didn't think, that it may be tied with UHK keyboard or UHK agent before ( because these circumstances I've noticed before as well). But now I'll be more scrutiny obeserve this bug exactly to keyboard and software angles. I'll text later in this issue - if it will happen again.

Is it possible that the first 50 times it was successfull due to other environmental conditions (different browser, different OS, ...)?

Mentioning @ert78gb so that he is aware, but even assuming that this is actually a bug in the Agent, I don't think we can do anything about it unless we are able to gather more evidence and ideally figure out a way to reproduce the problem.

If I understand well then if the Agent running in the background for long time it modifies the user configuration.
Agent does not modify anything in the user config without user interaction. Even if the user configuration is not compatible with the Agent it ask to load the last compatible user configuration.

Could you check the user configuration history is the user configuration is you last user configuration? Configuration menu in Agent?

I retrieved user configuration files . Here in added screenshots UHK Agent lost one macroaction - scancode:42 (backspace) - 24321 line of user conf file on screenshots. Between 14.20 till 15.40 macroaction (tap backspace) were there, and everthing were fine. But between 15.40 and 15.41 Agent made saving without that macroaction (tap backspace). Now I have that action again. Anyway, I'll be text if it will be repeating. It could be cause of that my UHK v.1 60 - too old? and cache memory or chips have a degradation and sometimes keyboard reset during big load work accompanied with loosing some data?

It is a great news that you find Agent modified the user configuration. So it is not a firmware bug.

The question is what triggered the save? And what indicated the deletion of the MacroKeyAction?
There is no timer in Agent to automatically save the user configuration. We automatically save user configuration

• after firmware upgrade. You wrote there was no firmware upgrade in this period.
• reset the user configuration or just some part like mouse speed. But is also should be visible in diff. Except if you reset the form PC to PC and no real config changes

I am really curious what is the source. If you find it and it is a software bug we will fix it.

I doubt it too.

I have been flashing the same two uhk60s for years dailish and their flash has been rock solid.

The keyboard doesn't write the config in normal operation - it is a blob that is written by Agent and read by Agent. Even if it got corrupted, Agent would have failed to read it and forced you to recover a backup...

This GUI point also can has influence for intereference the saving new macro actions or oversaving in wrong way.
Button "Save to keyboard" overlaps button "save to macro", sometimes I click save to keyboard initially. Try to see the screenshot.
