OMNeT++ 5.5.1 and INET-4.1.1 are both 6 years old, from 2019. It is unreasonable to start new projects with those versions, as you will be facing missing features, issues and bugs fixed long time ago. I would contact the MOSAIC guys and express my interest in using recent versions of OMNeT++ and INET, and offer contributing if needed. |

I am facing a specific dependency constraint and was hoping you might be able to provide some guidance. Our project requires the use of the Eclipse MOSAIC co-simulation framework. The version of MOSAIC we are using has a strict requirement for OMNeT++ v5.5.1 and INET v4.1.1.
I have looked through the public releases of Simu5G on GitHub, and it appears the oldest available version is v1.1.0, which requires OMNeT++ v5.6.2.
My question is: Does an older version, a specific Git tag, or a branch of Simu5G exist that is compatible with OMNeT++ 5.5.1 and INET 4.1.1?
Any information you could provide would be incredibly helpful and greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time and your great contribution to the research community.
