Hey @tm-pham! I think we can carry planning here (to be consistent with what we are asking our students to do). Later on, we could transition to a private repository, if needed. I've done that before with @chipmanj (will miss you, buddy!). Here are the notes from today's meeting:

The classes start on Tuesday, August 25th. We will start with a session about AI based on my slides here. The lab session will be about how we expect students to use AI, including conducting some data analyses. I will lead this week

For week 2--Intro to Git--, you will take the lead using the slides and lab that we have in the repo. Feel free to modify the contents :). We will do the regular lab, doing pull requests to the Who Am I repo.

For the third week, "R Essentials", we will check the level of the students before the classes start. It may be that we either use the existing content (which starts from the very basic bits), or some more advanced content (like from here), and provide the other content as optional readings.
In terms of specific tasks:
You can start working on the contents either on the branch fall2026-plan or branch out of it!
We can use this space for async chat or adding references/links, if you find that useful. For the moment, I will use this for keeping track of the things I need to do :).
