Describe the bug
Since a couple weeks, SteamVR refuses to load correctly, showing a black vrmonitor.sh window that expands infinitely to the right and a top-left menu that doesn't load correctly and is completely glitched. (To the point it's a miracle that the Quit option works) Also, StamVR is not detected anymore by ALVR either.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Start SteamVR
Expected behavior
SteamVR should launch normally.
- Steam client version (build number or date): 1782866176 - Thu. 25 June 2026 1:24 UTC + 01:00
- SteamVR version: I can't have the version but I found the build numbers where it happens: 1755290071, 1782328038 and 1781734990. (previous, beta and public)
- Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): CachyOS (Arch-based)
- Steam runtime diagnostics: info.txt
- Steam and SteamVR logs: logs.tar.gz
- Minidumps: dumps.tar.gz
Screenshots

Additional context
WiVRn is a temporary solution for me as it doesn't rely on SteamVR.
Tried public, beta and previous. Same problem on all.
Tried to verify files integrity. Doesn't fix anything.
Tried to reinstall steamvr completely. Doesn't fix anything.
