Steam does not detect my controller. I've read through #13171 and followed the steps to reinstall the system libs and to manually update the firmware of my controller and puck. After successfully starting with the puck, the hardware updater fails for the controller with the following error message:
ERROR: NO UNIT NEEDING UPDATE FOUND FOR SERIAL NUMBER "<serial>"
sudo ./hardwareupdater.x86_64 --show-all-devices still lists my serial number and also reports that it requires an update. It does match the serial number on the back of the device, too. Steam itself still does not recognize the controller.
