How i can exit from Menù System?

Hi everyone, I'm working on a project for the management of an airsoft bomb and I've reached a dead end. I wish I could manage the LCD screen by exiting the menu system. Once I attack the function I want when starting the various modes, the program doesn't change my screen. For example I can't clear the screen with the lcd.clear() command and I can't print anything on it. I send my code to be able to understand better.
My problem is with the "startdominiomode" function, I would like to be able to write items on the lcd that are not part of the menus.
How i can do it? Thank's..

Hi, @GabboHD.

Try removing the lines sdominio.hide(true); and lcd.begin(20, 4); from void startdominiomode() {... function. The hide function will skip the sdominio screen when cycling through the menu with LiquidMenu::next_screen(), it's not for clearing the display (lcd.clear(); is enough). And lcd.begin(20, 4); is already called in setup().

You shouldn't have problems using the lcd independently of the menu as long as you are not calling functions from the library after you print something to the display. If you're still having problems, you can try adding a Serial.print() next to every library call to make sure you're not accidentally calling it.

I wish I could attach a function to a line that allows me to clear the screen and write whatever I want, but even deleting the commands you were talking about I can't clear the display. Meanwhile I have to use: menu_system.call_function(1);

menu_system.update();

to be able to change screen to the clean one I would like

I would like to know why at the end of the function called on the line the library takes me back to the menu from where I activated the function. Because I don't just have to print a text but start two timers at the same time on that screen, so I would like to decide when to go back to the previous menu.
With the "while" loop I solved it on the one hand, however, this is very limiting.
