Use LARS as an on-site mirror for WebSphere Liberty features
One use case for LARS is to provide a mirror of parts of the WebSphere Liberty repository inside a firewall. Once your LARS server is up and running, it needs to be populated with features for your version of WebSphere Liberty. The simplest way to do this is:
Download a zip of all the features for your version of WebSphere Liberty from IBM Fix Central. Type wlp-featurerepo into the search box to find the relevant zip for your Liberty installation (registration required)
Unzip to a local directory
Upload the features to your LARS instance using larsClient
Install features from LARS into a WebSphere Liberty server
