About the size of the box in the open response step: I asked this because students have to write a report, which is meant to be extended several times, after completing specific activities. By the end, this report will probably be quite lengthy, so I was thinking that it would be nice if students could view their whole answer at once, without having to manually adjust the box first. I noticed that you can adjust the length of the box only so far, so it would be interesting if there was a way to set the response box's maximum length as the default.
What's a best way to handle this? Allow the author to set the size of the textbox? Or give them 3 options:
"small (~1-2 sentences)", "medium (~1 paragraph)", "large (essay)"?
