after Bitnami announced here to revoke free access to non-latest images, is there a plan to move away from using bitnami Redis chart?

Hello,

Unfortunately, there are no other viable options currently available that provide both a maintained Helm chart and Docker image under community management.

Starting August 28th, we will likely need to switch to the legacy Bitnami repository. However, please note that this repository does not receive updates or security fixes, which poses a risk for vulnerabilities.

The alternative is to continue using the Bitnami container registry, but it only supports the latest tag — meaning there's no control over which image version is pulled, which may introduce instability.

In any case, users will have the option to choose which registry they prefer based on their risk appetite and operational needs.

Due to Bitnami postponing the deletion of the public catalog until September 29th, the change will also be applied on September 29th.

It looks like there's an active effort to create an official Valkey Helm chart: valkey-io/valkey#2371 Once it's ready, perhaps it could replace the Bitnami Redis Helm chart?
