I'm curious about structuring things so that we might move towards a single naming convention for all of our software packages?

We could have wigner.lab, wigner.optics, wigner.atom etc.

PEP 420 namespaces + meta-package with pyproject.toml

could also use subtrees

I tried this with other packages (Wigner_optics and wigner_dmd) and it seems to work well.
