This is a small behavior change in the old reducer, which prevents setAvailableMetaBoxesPerLocation dispatch order from wiping out the new flag.
Technically, only needed for plugin override, but should be harmless, IMO.

This check isn't needed for functions with gutenberg_ prefix.

rtcCompatibleIdsstore slice with an__rtc_compatibleflag carried directly on meta box entries inmetaBoxLocations. Reuses the existingsetAvailableMetaBoxesPerLocationaction as the single entry point for server-provided metabox data.How?
PHP dispatches a second
setAvailableMetaBoxesPerLocationwith{ id, title, __rtc_compatible: true }entries.mergeMetaboxesnow spreads by id, so the flag layers onto the core's existing entry. Consumer checksmetaBox.__rtc_compatibleinstead of an ID lookup.The PHP core backport would be a one-line change around here: https://github.com/WordPress/wordpress-develop/blob/5044e953df6e6bc058f8c6bf2eb9e81e4889a9b1/src/wp-admin/includes/post.php#L2432-L2435. The override in the plugin requires much more code.
