FFXIV Backup Installer

These are my personal FFXIV settings. The keybinds, hotbars, macros, ReShade tuning, plugin picks, and skill mods are exactly what I play with day to day. I'm sharing them publicly so anyone can browse the full plugin list, peek through the configs, and try whatever looks useful. Install the whole thing in one click, hand-pick just the components you want via the in-app selector, or use it as a starting point and tweak from there, whatever fits your style.

  • Want a version just for yourself? Dialed in for your own class, playstyle, or setup? Open an issue or reach out! Happy to help put one together!

What it does

  • Restores your FFXIV game settings (keybinds, hotbars, character settings, macros).
  • Installs ReShade presets and shaders into your FFXIV folder.
  • Drops in pre-tuned configs for DelvUI, DelvCD, QoLBar, BossModReborn, and dozens of other plugins.
  • Installs custom skill effect replacements for Penumbra.
  • Downloads 65 Dalamud plugins fresh from the upstream repos at install time, so you always get the latest builds.
  • Backs up anything it overwrites and lets you restore previous backups with one click.

Download

Grab the latest FFXIV Backup Installer.exe from the releases page.

~324 MB single-file installer. No additional dependencies required — Python and Qt are bundled.

Installation

  1. Download FFXIV Backup Installer.exe from the latest release.
  2. Right-click → Run as administrator (needed to write into the FFXIV game folder).
  3. The installer auto-detects your FFXIV path, or drag & drop the folder onto the path field.
  4. Toggle which components to install. Use the Configure › chip next to Dalamud plugins to narrow the list.
  5. Click Install Configurations, review the summary dialog, and confirm.
  6. Restart XIVLauncher when the install completes — Dalamud will keep the new plugins updated automatically.
