Evo-PicCatcher

Repo:Evo-PicCatcher

This project is a modified and extended version of https://github.com/Mingyueyixi/PicCatcher

Introduction

Evo-PicCatcher is a tool designed to capture images displayed during app runtime.
It can be useful for debugging, analysis, and automation purposes.

If you have any feature suggestions, feel free to open an Issue. Contributions and ideas are welcome.

Usage

Select scope apps in LSPosed Manager

When apps in the scope are running and display images, the images will be captured (currently the capture methods can only cover most of the content, please understand)

Notes:

  • The captured images are those that are displayed, so if only thumbnails are shown, only thumbnails can be captured, not the original images
  • The capture is done during app runtime and does not generate any network traffic

Improvements over the original project

  • Rebuilt UI following Material Design 3 guidelines
  • Added more image capture methods:
    • ImageDecoder
    • Coil
    • Add FileCatcher support
    • Add RenderNode interception
    • Add Surface-level monitoring
  • Option to save images to the app's private directory (Android/data), preventing them from appearing in gallery apps
  • Added logging functionality for easier debugging and issue tracking
