V1 Feature Set

Tasks that need to happen before the release of V1:

• New UI (In progress - Craig Tumblison)
  • Needs easily discoverable Undo/Redo
• Auto Save
• When Rectangle/Circle/Squiggle tool selected,
  • Ability to set stroke color/width/transparency for new shapes
  • Ability to set fill color/transparency for new shapes
• When Text tool selected
  • Ability to pick font/size/color/style(italics, bold) for new text items
• When editing text
  • Ability to pick font/size/color/style(italics, bold) for new editing item
• When Arrow tool selected
  • Ability to set stroke color/width/transparency, fill color/transparency, text font/size/color/style for selected items
• Copy/paste graphics
• Insert graphic (png/gif/jpeg) from file
  • Ideally also insert PDF/SVG but this can wait until after V1
• Copy/paste text as plain text
• UI Polish
  • No glitches (e.g. cursors showing when not editing text)
  • Warnings for when saving a file fails (w/ option to save elsewhere)

Future items for after V1:

• Support PDF/SVG as insert file formats
• Rotate PDF pages
• Append PDF to end of doc
• Delete/reorder pages of doc
• Export original PDF(s)
• Insert signature via webcam/smartphone
• List of recent docs when opening the app
