Many of our vehicles are dark and include inverted CODE39 barcodes for the 17-character VIN. While our dedicated barcode scanner doesn't have an issue picking these up, I really struggle to get my iPhone to read the barcode using this repository. It does pretty well for non-inverted barcodes, and will even pick up the inverted ones rarely and if I get it JUST right.
I'm using an iPhone 15 Pro with the 3 lenses. I notice that by default when I open the barcode scanner, it looks like it is using the wide-angle lens, which I'm sure doesn't help.
However, I have an Android device I also test with that only has 1 camera lens, and I have the same issue.
I also have a Zebra Android with a 1D/2D barcode scanner built in, and this works well for the same barcodes.
I'm not totally convinced it is an inverted barcode issue, because if I throw the barcodes in photoshop and invert them, I still have the same issue.
Could you try to scan these and tell me if you're able to easily? If so, are there some settings I may need to tweak?
Thank you, and thanks for this awesome library. It works so well for everything else.
