Skill-Konnect is a web application designed to connect individuals seeking mentorship with experienced professionals. Users can create profiles, showcase their skills, and search for mentors or mentees based on specific expertise. The platform facilitates communication and collaboration through a built-in messaging system.

To get a local copy up and running, follow these simple steps.
- Node.js and npm (or yarn)
- A Firebase project

Clone the repo:

Install NPM packages:
npm install

Set up Firebase:
- Create a Firebase project at https://console.firebase.google.com/.
- In your Firebase project, create a new web app.
- Copy your Firebase configuration object and paste it into a new file at
src/firebase.ts. The file should look like this:

npm run devThis will start the Vite development server, and you can view the application in your browser at http://localhost:5173.
In the project directory, you can run:
npm run dev: Runs the app in the development mode.npm run build: Builds the app for production to thedistfolder.npm run lint: Lints the code using ESLint.npm run preview: Serves the production build locally.
