Hello @LaVol-P That command lets you copy files from any path to an external device in FAT32 or to another path in the internal HDD. By default the command /copy.ps3 does not replace the files with the same file size, if the file already exists. So /copy.ps3 is ideal to backup directories using /dev_hdd0/autoexec.bat or custom links. |

Ok ! So you suggest that I backup my games on the HDD first and then transfer the files onto the SD card ? I guess I could do that yeah, I just thought it would be cool to have that option from the beginning, it would save me some time. But how about creating ISO images ? Would be nice to be able to do it directly from webman instead of having to use multiman too ! |

I love to backup my games through the VSH menu, it's one million times more convenient than having to load up multiman and wait forever.
However I wished we had not only the option to choose between copying the game or creating an ISO image on webman, but also it would be amazing if we could select to back up on the console's hard drive or on the external drives hooked up to the console.
Multiman lets you do that at least...
Howeveeeeerrr for some reason, if I plug a SD card to my backwards compatible PS3, despite it being formated in Fat32 and everything, multiman NEVER offers me to pick the SD card as a destination for the back up.
Again, very niche and only purposeful for owners of backwards compatible PS3s but if SD cards (and CF cards also) were more integrated into CFW backup tools, it would offer the community game changing storage options as some SD cards can go up to 1tb of storage and it fits nicely into the sd card reader which is a million times sexier than having an external disk plugged via usb laying around next to your console.
It's a feature that couldn't hurt I guess !
