Duende Identity Server vs IdentityServer8

I happened to chance upon this repository, but wanted to know why one would use IdentityServer8 vs upgrading to Duende Identity Server itself.

So, we are on Identity Server 4 which is not being maintained and were planning to upgrade to the paid version of Duende Identity Server.

I'm just looking to see the advantages of upgrading to IdentityServer8 vs Duende's Identity Server. I think one of the advantages of upgrading to Duende's version would be that we would then be able to use BFF NuGet packages.
