The config has a key, 'score,' which is a combination of 'performance_score' and 'adaptability_score.' In this case, can I remove 'performance_score' and 'adaptability_score' from the feature_dimensions in the config?

The feature dimensions determine how the MAP Elites grid is filled. If you want to keep programs that have lower score but may do well on performance and adaptability you can include them otherwise you can remove them the feature dimensions.
