EC2 instance stuck on 2023.10.20260316

There are now 2 newer versions of AL2023, but my EC2 instance is still stuck on 2023.10.20260316 with no available updates.

Did the recalled release break something? I had to upgrade with --releasever=latest to actually get DNF to pick up the latest version.

We have identified the root cause. Unfortunately, this won't be a quick fix.

Issue: For customers running recalled release versions like 2023.10.20260316, dnf check-release-update doesn't list newer update versions available.

Workaround: The current recommendation is to fetch latest release versions from our official release notes page and upgrade manually.

Example:

dnf upgrade --releasever=2023.10.20260330
