add integration identifier to discovery card

upon discovery of devices by multiple integrations, Battery notes simply shows 2 identical cards.
Eg in my case, HomeKit and Matter both discover new Ikea devices.

Since most of the time I only need the HomeKit device, I want to ignore the Matter device, and prevent creation if identical entities with the _2 extension.

As we can not see which card belongs to which, we now have only the option to either guess.... to enable both, and rename all if the wrong card was picked first ;-)

Would be great if upon discovery, we could see which cards belongs to which discovered integration

manual editing all entities

Hi, I can see the value in that.
I'll certainly look into it, either for inclusion on the discovery card or the confirmation form where the make/manufacturer are displayed.

My pov: at least in the discovery card because there we select which one to include depending on the providing integration.

I agree and will certainly try for that first but I know the discovery card is quite restrictive and I'll have to see if there's any impact in suffixing the integration name.

I've managed to implement this on the discovery card and it's just released to beta 3.1

having tested the beta, and now the todays release, I feel we didnt understand each other 100% ;-)

I get these now:

and not sure, but did you add the Battery Notes there as a result of my request?
because if yes, that was not what I meant... I had meant to add the source integration for the device there, so, Ikea Dirigera/Homekit device, or Matter....

If I now see those, I still dont know which of the 2 I should pick ;-)

Can you try clearing your browser cache, you should be seeing something like this, with the source integration name after the device, in this case Mobile App.
Battery Notes is mandatory and has always been there as that's the integration picking up the discovery.

Ah yes, they wouldn't be storing the integration name, and I know with version 3.0 they were shown again due to the change to sub entries.
New discoveries will show it though, I'm just not sure if I can go and modify existing ignored data.
