`mcp_tools` is not used anywhere

ClaudeCodeOptions has a mcp_tools attribute which is not used anywhere. Are mcp tools discovered and allowed by default?

stdio access to local mcps doesn't seem to work in any case in my testing, while the same mcp works fine through the cli.

Yeah, I suspect mcp_tools is a bogus setting and that mcp_servers is the real one.

I hate that this was labeled as a question. This looks like invalid (or at least obscure and undocumented) code to me

The mcp_tools attribute has been removed from the codebase. The correct way to configure MCP servers is via mcp_servers in ClaudeAgentOptions (for external MCP servers) or create_sdk_mcp_server() (for in-process SDK MCP servers). Closing as resolved.
