Introduction

DAQInterface now accepts the “external_run_control” value of DAQINTERFACE_PROCESS_MANAGEMENT_METHOD, allowing its develop-branch version to work on ProtoDUNE and rendering obsolete the feature/protodune branch

• Issue #22137: when DAQINTERFACE_PROCESS_MANAGEMENT_METHOD is set to “external_run_control”, DAQInterface works on the ProtoDUNE cluster without the need for any special modifications
