Stuck in "Processing..." when I try to upload a .tif file

I'm using the latest web version (4.7). When I try to upload a .tif file, it gets stuck on "Processing..." and never loads the file. It works well if I upload .jpg or .png files. I noticed an earlier bug report 3 years ago for pdf files, maybe its something related to that?

Hi, thanks for reporting this. Are you able to convert the .tiff to another image format and continue?

I will look into .tiff formats and see if it's possible to fix this issue. Are your .tiff files single images or multi-page documents?
