hiya. sorry to spring an issue on this quiet repo.. I'm one of the probably few people who use this and have run into a bit of a UX problem. If I want to edit my selection (which will happen a lot as a graph is built), I constantly have to click the Edit button on the right, which brings me to a modal window to edit the selection's notes. The color of the selected node doesn't seem to be editable in the Edit dialog either; it can only be changed in the the Controls menu on the right.
Maybe this could be made simpler by just having a sidebar on the left that will show the currently selected Node or Segment, allowing instant editing. The color dropdown could be visible as well. If two Nodes are selected, it could offer to connect them (or even edit the existing connection)

the sidebar could allow the color changing/deletion of multiple items at once as well
