Node24 support

Currently documentation indicates that Node 22 is the latest supported version. What is the timeline for Node 24 support?

The AWS lambda layer aws-otel-node-js-arm-ver-1-30-2:1 produces an Extension.InitError with message “otelcol state is Closed” on Node24.x, which means the layer fails to initialise.

Additionally, the AWS Lambda layer aws-otel-node-js-arm-ver-1-30-1:2 intermittently fails with request timeout errors while exporting logs. Regardless of the retry configuration in collector.yaml enabling/disabling sending queue and retry on failure configuration and adjusting timeout values — the issue still persists, resulting in a loss of some log events.

We used @opentelemetry/api version 1.9.0
