The version of Android platform tools is buggy, use an older version and you should be fine.

I will close this ticket now, but if that doesn't turn out to be the case, please post back either in that thread or here and I'll help you.
Just know that this has nothing to do with PixelFlasher, even if you issue the command manually, you'd get the same error.
