parseFloat silently accepts scientific notation (e.g. "1e-7"), but downstream viem parseUnits expects a plain decimal string and throws an opaque error when it encounters 'e'. Add a regex guard to reject non-decimal formats before parseFloat is called, giving the user a clear error message instead.
