Currently Fanatec does not provide any kind of Linux support for there steering wheels and pedals, nor do they seem to plan to anytime soon.
The following kernel driver provides support most of Fanatecs lineup.
With the kernel driver installed, applications such as Oversteer can detect the Fanatec wheel bases and pedals, which can then be configured and used in sim racing games.
