JBL Quantum 910 Wireless only shows 1 output and no input while using USB

hello! so far I am really enjoying bazzite but I ran into an issue with my headset not working properly. JBL makes a headset with 2 outputs (one for games one for chat) and a microphone, but in bazzites UI I could only ever see one audio out when the usb dongle is plugged in. I looked high and low for a solution and the best I could find was a fix involving sound/usb/endpoint.c
since bazzite doesnt let the user edit these files (probably for the best) I couldnt find a fix other than to make a report here. Any help would be much appreciated.

I found this link in this alsa git issue- alsa-project/alsa-lib#279
I am aware the issues are slightly different but hoping the fix would be similar if not the same
