SSHChannel Reference Management
- The CreateChannel() method needs to properly maintain references between session and channel
- Currently implemented but may need testing
-
Thread Safety
- libssh is not thread-safe
- Concurrent operations on same session need serialization
- Documented but not enforced in code
-
Windows Support
- Not tested on Windows yet
- May need adjustments to binding.gyp
- Agent detection may need Windows-specific paths

- ⏸ Missing inline code comments
- None identified (core functionality implemented)
- Untested Code: No actual build/runtime testing yet
- Platform Support: Windows support unverified
- Memory Leaks: No Valgrind testing performed
- SFTP: Not implemented but not critical for MVP
- Documentation: May need refinement based on user feedback
The implementation is substantially complete for the MVP (Phases 1-4). The core SSH functionality including:
- Sessions
- Authentication (password & agent)
- Channels
- Tunneling
- Agent detection
- Config parsing
...are all implemented according to the plan.
Next critical steps:
- Build the project and fix any compilation errors
- Run basic tests
- Test with a real SSH server
- Fix any bugs discovered
- Test on all target platforms
The codebase is ready for initial testing and iteration.
