[Bug]: the application fails when deleting a site if the project folder was deleted first

Bug description

if I delete a project folder before removing it from the HERD sites section, it fails. When trying to delete a site whose folder no longer exists, it just keeps loading indefinitely. I have to close the program, recreate the folder with the same path, and then delete it.
