Does this work as headless?

I'm curious what happens in the scenario where the CarPlay app or the Android Auto app is launched from the car's display instead of from the phone. In that scenario, is it guaranteed that the React JavaScript thread will be running and able to control the CarPlay interface?

Hey @objectiveSee : I can't tell for Android, but my iOS-Standalone-App example can be found here: #158
It's got some documentation about the headless topic as well.
It's still on React Native 0.71, but I upgraded it to 0.75 in this branch.
I'll hopefully get around to upgrading further (0.79+) soon.

In my experience "updates" won't occur, meaning no UI will change, or any data will update.

This happens for me with YouTube Music sometimes when I launch from my car's screen. It'll open, with empty boxes, and won't update until I launch the app on my phone then everything updates and reacts.
