Steps to reproduce

This is extremely bad UX. It's a toggle, not a delete button! My server broke down and I was getting was getting connection failure notifications on my phone, so I toggled the account just to stop syncing attempts. There was no warning that my contacts were going to be permanently removed! Luckily I had an older backup, but I lost a bunch of contacts because of this.

When there's a specific proposal that can actually be implemented it will be created as an issue again.
