Hiya!
First off, massive thanks for Cloe. I've been using it for over 2-3 years as my go-to OCR, and honestly, it's the absolute best tool out there for JP-EN translators. The fact that it works system-wide everywhere on my PC, instead of being locked inside a specific app; makes it a total lifesaver for translators like me.
I wanted to see if there are any plans to add Wayland support? Right now, it doesn't seem to work on Wayland sessions.
As the Linux ecosystem continues its heavy push towards Wayland as the default display server protocol (with major distributions like Ubuntu and Fedora, and DEs like GNOME and KDE already defaulting to it), X11 is slowly being phased out.
For users, especially new Linux adopters; who rely heavily on fast, accessible OCR tools for their daily workflow, finding that core utilities don't work out-of-the-box on modern setups is really demotivating. Supporting Wayland would not only future-proof Cloe but also ensure that users transitioning to Linux have the essential accessibility and productivity tools they need from day one.
Thanks again for building such an awesome tool!
