Basically, bootc doesn't dictate architecture. On the topic of k8s https://github.com/bootc-dev/bootc-operator is recently created as an opinionated system.

If you're thinking of something like an "all in one image" that has a Kind or other equivalent system (plus the relevant images) embedded - it can absolutely make sense too!

Thanks for sharing the bootc-operator project. It looks really interesting!
That's actually very close to what I'm exploring. My goal is to have a single bootc container image that can bootstrap the entire environment, including the Kubernetes control plane and all the required platform components and applications, with no external dependencies.
