Additional reproduction: `bootc status` and `bootc upgrade` fail on running ZFS-root system

We have a working Ubuntu 26.04 bootc image installed to a ZFS root (using bootc install to-filesystem --allow-missing-verity --skip-finalize). The installed system boots successfully (kernel 7.0.0, composefs on ZFS, GDM active), but bootc status and bootc upgrade both fail with the same lsblk error on the running system.

Reproduction

System info from the running installed system:

Root cause

In v1.15.0 crates/blockdev/src/blockdev.rs, list_dev_by_dir() calls inspect_filesystem_of_dir() to get the mount source, then passes it directly to list_dev() → lsblk. For ZFS the source is a dataset name (rpool/root), not a block device path, so lsblk fails.

The call site is crates/lib/src/store/mod.rs:202:

let root_dev = bootc_blockdev::list_dev_by_dir(&physical_root)?.require_single_root()?;

This runs during BootedStorage::new() which is called by every bootc subcommand including status.

Fix

We patched list_dev_by_dir() to detect ZFS sources (by fstype == "zfs" or non-absolute path) and resolve the backing block device via zpool list -H -v -P <pool> instead of passing the dataset name directly to lsblk.
