Same problem here. I get the error when I specify the generic parameter (e.g. Pool[Record]).

Fixed by specifying the type as a string ("Pool[Record]"). Feels like a hack though.

This is because the asyncpg classes do not inherit from Generic, so they aren't subscriptable, but the stubs are because the intent of the classes is to be generic. Please see mypy's documentation about using classes that are generic in stubs, but not at runtime.
