What Changed

• Reorganized technical conventions documentation by removing 2 deprecated files (ci-validation.md and governance-documents.md) and adding a new ai-compliance.md guide
• Removed legacy Sweep AI configuration file (.github/sweep.yaml) as it is no longer used
• Updated line endings and formatting across 9 documentation files in .github/tech-conventions/ including mage-x, dependency management, GitHub workflows, pull request guidelines, release versioning, and security practices
• Normalized whitespace and line ending consistency in .cursorrules, .github/.env.base, and .github/AGENTS.md configuration files

Why It Was Necessary

• Consolidates and streamlines technical convention documentation by removing outdated governance and CI validation files that were redundant or superseded by other documentation
• Removes deprecated Sweep AI tooling configuration as the project no longer uses this automation tool
• Ensures consistent formatting and line endings across all documentation and configuration files for better maintainability and version control
• Introduces dedicated AI compliance documentation to provide clearer guidance for AI agent interactions with the codebase

Testing Performed

• Verified all markdown files render correctly and maintain proper formatting
• Confirmed YAML configuration files remain valid after whitespace normalization
• Validated that removed files (sweep.yaml, ci-validation.md, governance-documents.md) are not referenced elsewhere in the codebase
• Checked that documentation links and cross-references remain intact after file reorganization
• Verified the new ai-compliance.md file follows the established documentation structure

Impact / Risk

• Low Risk: Changes are purely documentation and configuration file cleanup with no code logic modifications
• No Breaking Changes: Removal of deprecated files does not affect any active workflows or build processes
