What Changed

  • Updated MAGE_X_VERSION from v1.20.16 to v1.21.0
  • Updated MAGE_X_BENCHSTAT_VERSION from v0.0.0-20260409210113-8e83ce0f7b1c to v0.0.0-20260512194132-3cf34090a3db

Why It Was Necessary

  • Upgrades mage-x to the latest minor version to incorporate new features and bug fixes
  • Updates the benchstat tool dependency to a newer commit for improved benchmark statistics analysis
  • Keeps development tooling current and aligned with latest releases

Testing Performed

  • Verify mage-x v1.21.0 downloads and initializes correctly in CI environment
  • Confirm all existing mage targets continue to execute successfully
  • Validate benchstat tool functions properly with the updated version

Impact / Risk

  • Breaking Change: None - minor version bump should maintain compatibility
  • Risk: Low - changes are limited to development tooling versions in CI configuration
  • CI Impact: May see improved performance or new capabilities from updated mage-x version
