I think the links just need to be renamed to https://forum.gamemaker.io/*. The GitHub Action has issues with redirects.

Hmm, not a redirect issue specifically. The problem is 403 should be just accepted, but that glosses over the potential for a link to be a genuine 404. In any case, it's not really something I think I can fix because GitHub Actions get lumped into all bot traffic and rejected. Understandable but annoying.

Ok, lychee was adjusted to accept 403. I think in the long run that's going to be better.
It's not perfect. Links from reddit/medium/steamdb hit 403 (likely before 404). Surprisingly, Itch.io is returning 200 now so, maybe they adjusted their rate limiting. Closing.
