3 x 3 Pickaxes

On some servers, there is some sort of pickaxe that breaks 3 blocks by 3 blocks (e.g. Donut SMP), so I am wondering if there will ever be support to "mark" a pickaxe as 3x3 clientside

Settings

Maybe add a "3x3" command/setting

Context

This would improve baritone because it will let #tunnel and #mine (for now) use this setting to mine and tunnel faster

Honestly, I think this is not a feature which should be added to Baritone.

Baritone is mostly intended to work with vanilla Minecraft and the feature as described here would only benefit few users. There is a large variety of mods adding mechanics similar to what you described (3x3x3 or 3x3x1, works with terrain blocks (what is that even?) or all blocks, cubic area or spheric area, multiple block types at once or just one), and accounting for all of them is just too much.

Besides that are implementation concerns. Tracking block changes in the path finder is straight up not possible for performance reasons ^[1], so there are problems like this situation:

Pretending the entire area is filled with stone, will it be possible to step up from the gold block onto the diamond block?
With 3x3 pickaxes the answer depends on how the gold block was reached (straight ahead: yes; from the side: no), which is not known during path finding.^[2]

#mine and #tunnel (without arguments) just make creative use of the path finder, so they also have this problem. That leaves #build (and #tunnel with arguments).

<sub>1. Placing throwaway blocks or breaking through obstacles relies on (quite good) approximative assumptions. E.g. if a potential player position is above air, Baritone must place a throwaway block to actually reach it, hence the block below that position can be assumed to be solid.
2. And if you are careful you will notice that "from behind" is a problematic case even with current Baritone. The concern is that 3x3 pickaxes make this kind of thing much more common.
